What is Internet of things - IoT
Internet of things (IoT) is the concept that defines the global network of information and communication in which all the objects around us regardless of their nature, size and geometry is identified and permanently connected to the Internet, allowing the capture, storage and management all the information emitted by those objects in order to automate daily processes and activities in our daily lives and analyze all data generated giving us useful information to help us making the right decision against situations we face daily.

Undoubtedly internet of things will be the second digital revolution that will change our lifestyles. Thanks to computer technology developed in the 1960s Internet came into our homes and devices giving unlimited access to services as well as vast amounts of information, on the other hand the development of social networks has enabled us to communicate and socialize with anyone on the planet who is plugged in, all this has changed our habits and customs and has generated new business models, Google, Facebook, Twitter and Yahoo are examples of companies that have found success basing their business in internet.
The development and implementation of the Internet on society is considered by experts as the first digital revolution, the second digital revolution will occur when Internet of things will be part of our lives, experts in the technology sector foresee an economic impact up to 10 times which involved the introduction of the Internet in our homes.

The entry of internet of things in our homes radically change our habits and customs, plants of our houses ask us when they need to be watered, the fridge made the purchase of the week, the washer will determine the duration and mode of cleaning in function of the deposited clothing, winter radiators and heaters will become operational when our house reaches a certain temperature and in summer fans and air conditioners automatically connect, bathtubs preparing your bubble bath just before arriving home, cooking pots food when you want ... Undoubtedly internet of things will change our lifestyles.
Today we have devices and technologies that make a reality internet of things, companies from all planet likes of Google, Apple, Microsoft, BMW, Ford or Sony invest large amounts of money in developing new products may be are connected to the Internet, but we have a great challenge to solve, first software programmers working on developing strong security measures to prevent access and manipulation of these objects at the hands of third parties, on the other hand is open the discussion on the degree of privacy offered by these devices and the use of the information generated, finally the increasingly heavy dependence of our economies and lifestyles to information technologies doing necessary to develop contingency plans in order to avoid economic and social crisis if occur an "electronic blackout". No doubt these challenges will be solved by having internet of things improve our quality of life.
History of the Internet of things.
The origins of the Internet of things date back to 1969 when the first ARPANET computer network connection established communication between Stanford and UCLA, this milestone was the seed that germinated Internet we know today and used daily.
